Queer & Trans Affirming Counseling

You deserve a space where you don't have to explain or defend who you are.

I provide queer and trans-affirming counseling for individuals navigating identity, relationships, trauma, grief, and the complexities of being human. I work primarily with queer, trans, and gender-expansive people, and I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the many ways identity and experience can intersect.

Who I Work With

  • Exploring your gender identity or sexual orientation

  • Navigating changes in relationships

  • Minority stress, discrimination, or feeling misunderstood

  • Family or relationship difficulties related to identity

  • Dating, intimacy, attachment, and queer relationships

You don't need to have a particular goal, label, or diagnosis to seek therapy. You might be looking for support with:

  • Non-monogamy and other relationship structures

  • Trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, or chronic stress

  • Developing greater self-compassion and a stronger sense of self

  • Simply wanting a therapist who understands queer & trans experiences

My Approach

Therapy is a place to explore what has happened to you, what you want for yourself, and what might help you feel more connected to your life and relationships.

My approach is humanistic, relational, and trauma-informed. I believe you are the expert on your own identity and experience. My role is to offer a thoughtful, compassionate space where we can make sense of what you're carrying and work toward the changes that matter to you.

As a queer and non-binary trans therapist, I bring lived experience and professional understanding to my work with LGBTQ+ clients. I have additional training in LGBTQ-centered Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and work with individuals and couples navigating identity, relationships, attachment, and trauma.
